Social Skills Camp
Defining Voice's Social Skills Camps are taught by licensed medical professionals who specialize in Pediatric language and communication development. Our therapists have spent their career working with children in both medical and educational settings.
After an initial assessment, children are grouped by age and existing language skills.

Dates & Times
Currently we are accepting registration for 2 sessions over the summer:
Summer Camp 1
Dates: June 12th - July 12th (5 weeks)
Days: Tuesday & Thursday (2 days / week)
Time: 9:00am - 11:30am (2.5 hours / day)
Summer Camp 2
Dates: July 17th - Aug. 16th (5 weeks)
Days: Tuesday & Thursday (2 days / week)
Times: 9:00am - 11:30am (2.5 hours / day)
Session Fee
$1,000 / Camp
$200 non-refundable deposit required to reserve camp dates & time
10% discount if paid in full on first day of camp

Circle Time (45 minutes)
Circle time focuses on improving self-esteem, speaking and listening skills, language and academic vocabulary.

Class Singing
Art Activity (30 minutes)
The art activity focuses on self expression, problem solving, following directions, sequencing skills, and collaboration. The project is based on the book of the day or early academic readiness skills such as shapes, colors, numbers, and letters.
Snack Time (15 minutes)
Snack time is a great time to focus on social responsibility, manners, and social interaction.
Free Play (30 minutes)
Free play is a time for the therapist to model language, encourage appropriate behavior, practice turn taking, and develop advocacy skills.
Dancing (10 minutes)
This health activity teaches coordination, balance, and flexibility. Dancing also promotes body awareness and self expression.
Departure (20 minutes)
We wrap up the day by sharing our art, sharing our favorite part of the day, choosing helpers for the next session, and singing our goodbye song.
