About Will King

Defining Voice Productions: Will King Will is a 2004 graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Journalism and Mass Communication, majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science. He has been in the radio industry for more than a decade, serving as Assistant Program Director, Promotions Director, Production Assistant, and On-Air Personality for WNKT-FM and WTCB-FM. He currently serves as the Public Address Announcer for the defending national championship South Carolina baseball team.

A love of acting, performance, news reporting and storytelling led to the to the establishment of Defining Voice Productions. Defining Voice Productions provides a variety of services including but not limited to: scriptwriting, editing, voice-over, emcee, interviews, video production, and full production of commercial campaigns.

Will sees Defining Voice Productions as a company that will take over as the go-to company for businesses that are serious about ‘defining their message’ and separating themselves from the competition.

Will currently lives in Columbia, South Carolina where he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and staying active through racquetball, and softball.

Lexmark

Lexmark International was the very first voiceover project that I took on. Lexmark was designing a training website to help their associates across America better sell their products. They were looking for me to provide two character voices, a "devil" salesman and an "angel" salesman. This was an incredibly fun project to work on, gave me my first national client, and also gave me the opportunity to work on my character voices.

South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy

The South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy approached me with a script they needed done as quickly as possible. Funding for their program was in danger of being pulled within a matter of days, and they needed someone that could be clear, concise and show the professionalism they needed to show the state legislature. The best news? Their funding was restored.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation needed a serious commercial that addressed the seriousness of the illness they are fighting. This is what we ended up providing them.
